Officials to Announce Housing “Reconversion” Project

Announcement of a pilot project to encourage reconverting subdivided houses in Philadelphia back to single-family dwellings.

State Representatives Mike McGeehan and Dwight Evans will join Brian Hudson, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, in announcing an initiative designed to encourage reconverting subdivided houses in Philadelphia back to single-family dwellings.  Through the Multi-Unit Conversion Demonstration Program, qualified homebuyers, homeowners or landlords can apply for a no-interest loan up to $25,000 to reconvert a multi-unit house back to a single-family dwelling.
