FOR PLANNING PURPOSES

SAVE OUR KIDS ALLIANCE TO SLAM DAILY NEWS

Offensive cartoon with bullet holes in kids is a virtual ad for Michael Nutter

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Save Our Kids Alliance will hold a press conference to protest today's Daily News Cartoon - a virtual advertisement promoting Michael Nutter's proposal to stop and frisk citizens at random. The cartoon features a smiling Chaka Fattah and black children with bullet holes in their chests. Next to the cartoon is a www.philly.com web page link promoting Michael Nutter.

Fattah, and every mayoral candidate, has criticized Nutter's proposal, saying it would lead to racial profiling. The Daily News, which has endorsed Nutter, has engaged in biased reporting that targets Fattah while providing free advertising for Michael Nutter.

JOIN US FOR A PRESS CONFERENCE TO DENOUNCE THIS OFFENSIVE CARTOON AND DAILY NEWS BIASED REPORTING FOR MICHAEL NUTTER.

WHO: State Sen. Vincent Hughes, Bishop Leonard C. Goins, Rev. Fred Clarkson, Ray Jones, Dorothy Johnson-Speight,
