4 - 4:30 PM Press Event: After School Program -- The Lighthouse - 152 W. Lehigh Ave.
This event kicks off the "Keeping Our Kids Safe" tour. The Lighthouse has been in continuous operation serving the Kensington and North Philadelphia communities of the City of Philadelphia. Over the years, it has become a multi-service provider to a multicultural community. The After School Program serves young people from 5 to 13 years old and offers individualized tutoring, homework assistance, cultural and recreational activities from September to June.
