FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PHILADELPHIA, PA - The influential Pentecostal Clergy Political Action Committee officially endorsed Mayoral Candidate Chaka Fattah at their service late Thursday night.
PCPAC represent 50 churches with 25,000 members.
"Chaka Fattah is a man after God's own heart and a man called by God to do a good work," said Bishop Leonard Goins, Secretary and Founder. "Chaka Fattah is our Joshua. He's been called to build this city."
"I am honored to receive the support of the Pentecostal Clergy," said Fattah. "I am convinced that working together, we can rebuild this city so that every Philadelphian can reach their God-given potential. The clergy, community and business leaders are going to be a big part of that when I'm mayor."
The endorsement by the Pentecostals represents another in a long line of growing and diverse support for Fattah. In the last two weeks alone, Fattah has been endorsed by SEIU 32BJ, AFSCME DC 47, Steelworkers Local 404, and the Gasworkers Local 686 UWUA.
