WHY: In response to a weekend of astounding violence, Mayoral Candidate Michael Nutter will call on the City for an end to the city’s escalating violence on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 1:30pm outside City Hall.
“Over the weekend we lost ten members of the Philadelphia community to gun violence,” said Nutter. “Our city cannot continue to endure this level of violence.”
