The Pig Meets the Slots Parlors:

The Pay-Raise Movement and the Anti-Casino Movement Join Forces

WHAT: Rally with the meeting of the two movements, represented by giant inflatables

WHERE: Brief march starts at Penn's Landing (5pm)
Speakers/rally at field on the Visitor's Center (5:20pm)

WHEN: WEDNESDAY, April 18th

Photos include the largest pig you have ever seen (representing the pork barrel projects that started the pay-raise movement) with perhaps the largest slot machine you have ever seen (symbolic of the 5,000 slot parlors being proposed in Philly neighborhoods).

This moment is symbolic of the joining together of these two movements, both centered on issues of good governance.
