WHY: On Saturday mayoral candidate Michael Nutter will be at the Quartermaster Plaza greeting shoppers. In light of the upcoming Easter celebration, Nutter will give flowers to the shoppers as he talks with them about the future of Philadelphia.
“I really enjoy my visits to the neighborhoods and meeting people whose lives will be affected by the next Mayor of the City of Philadelphia,” said Nutter. “I enjoy meeting the people because they are what is really important in this race. Their views and ideas about Philadelphia are important to me.”
Throughout his campaign Nutter has taken his message of change directly to voters in their neighborhoods, making stops at transit stops, community events, and places of worship.
