PHILADELPHIA --- Mayoral candidate Dwight Evans will proudly accept the endorsement of several African American law enforcement groups during a press conference at his campaign headquarters on Thursday, March 22nd at 2:00 PM. A number of supporters will be on hand at the headquarters, located at 1500 Walnut Street, Suite 501, to voice their support for Evans and to hear this special announcement. Evans announced his candidacy for Mayor before more than 1,200 supporters on December 11th in North Philadelphia; his campaign slogan is “A Safer Philadelphia – Block by Block.”
Expected endorsements include the Philadelphia Guardian Civic League, Cops and Citizens for Justice, and the Sentinels of Law Enforcement.
