Bob Brady Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with Northeast Philadelphia Pub Tour
PHILADELPHIA – Congressman Bob Brady joined St. Patrick’s Day revelers in Northeast Philadelphia for a day-long pub tour Saturday. Brady began the crawl at Chickie and Pete’s on Roosevelt Boulevard and wrapped up the day at Finnigan’s Wake on N. 3rd Street. Brady hit 11 other bars along the way, including Fluke’s Irish Pub, Paddy’s Well, Byrnes Tavern and Curran’s Irish Inn, where he was greeted by hundreds of supporters and well wishers.
“Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day along the campaign trail is a great way to touch supporters and spread my message to more Philadelphians,” said Congressman Brady. “People in the Northeast are facing many of the same challenges and obstacles that all Philadelphians face, and they are very receptive to my plan to put more police on the streets, improve our public school system and bring hope back to Philadelphia.”
Editor’s Note: Photos of Congressman Brady along with well wishers are available by contacting Dave Mellet in the Brady for Mayor Press office.
