PHILADELPHIA – The Knox for Philly campaign filed nearly 10,000 petitions at the Board of Elections today.
“I am honored to have received the support of nearly 10,000 Philadelphians from across our city,” said Knox. “This would never have been possible without the strong grassroots support my campaign has received.”
Knox continued to say this overwhelming support is proof-positive that Philadelphians are tired of the corruption in City Hall. “With the help of the 10,000 Philadelphians who are supporting my candidacy, we will take the ‘for sale” sign off City Hall and put an end to the pay-to-play politics that are all too common in our city.”
Knox submitted nearly 10 times the required number of signatures to make it onto the ballot.
