Casino-Free Philadelphia Launches Additional Appeal again the PA Gaming Control Board

What: Submission of Appeal Challenging PA Gaming Control Board's decision
Where: City Hall, Room 468 at Supreme Court Prothonotary's (Clerk) office
When: Today – Monday, March 5th at 11:00am

This filing will be the fifth Philadelphia-based appeal launched against the PA Gaming Control Board in the past week. Attorney to Casino-Free Philadelphia Alan Sandals will be present to explain the appeal.

This lawsuit follows the immediate heels of appeals by Riverwalk, Council, NABR, and a grouping of civic associations. It also is the second filed by Casino-Free Philadelphia; an original challenging the constitutionality of Act 71 filed in November 1st was accepted by the PA Supreme Court and has remained there since.
