Today the McClure for Council Campaign released information on the previous hiring of staff and consultants. Ted Mucellin has been hired as Campaign Manager and Yesenia Rosado as Deputy Campaign Manager. Mucellin had previously worked on Jon Saidel’s campaign for Mayor of Philadelphia and prior to that had managed Larry Farnese’s campaign for State Representative from the 182nd District. Rosado previously worked as Field Coordinator in Montgomery County for Governor Edward G. Rendell’s re-election campaign and prior to that had worked as a coordinator for John Kerry’s presidential campaign and for Emily’s List.
McClure for Council has also hired The Echo Group to handle direct mail and free media strategy. The Echo Group is a Philadelphia based communications firm founded by Dan Fee, Governor Rendell’s communications director in his 2002 and 2006 campaigns. With Trish Enright, the manager of Rendell’s successful re-election campaign in 2006, the company will be responsible for designing McClure’s direct mail plan. Also, Global Strategy Group, headed by Jef Pollock, will handle polling for the campaign. For more: http://www.globalstrategygroup.com
McClure remarked, “I’m excited to have assembled such a qualified and experienced team. I look forward to seeing what work the McClure for Council team can accomplish in the months ahead as we attempt to bring an independent voice and hard work to City Council for the 4th District.”
