PHILADELPHIA, PA - Congressman Chaka Fattah today announced G.Edward DeSeve as a Senior Advisor on Fiscal Matters. Fattah and DeSeve have worked together for many years, starting in the Green Administration when DeSeve was Director of Finance and then on a national level during the Clinton years.
'There is no one better prepared to give advice on municipal fiscal matters than Ed DeSeve," said Fattah. "I am proud he has joined my growing team."
DeSeve has previously served on a national level as the Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget and as the Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
DeSeve also has a long history of working at the State and Local Level. He served as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Pennsylvania, and Finance Director for the City of Philadelphia. DeSeve is currently a senior lecturer at the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.
