WHO: Michael Nutter, Mayoral Candidate

WHAT: Greetings at SEPTA El Stop

WHEN: Friday, January 26, 2007 7 am - 9am

WHY: Mayoral Candidate Michael Nutter will greet commuters at the SEPTA 15th and Market Streets El Stop. Nutter has used Friday mornings to greet commuters at a variety of SEPTA stations throughout the city in the past few months.

“As a mayoral candidate I believe it is important to meet the citizens of Philadelphia and learn what they want for their city. It gives them an opportunity to meet me, ask questions and learn that my vision for Philadelphia will include their vision as well,” said Nutter.

“It also gives me an opportunity to give out the official cookie of our campaign,” said Nutter with a smile. “The Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Sandwich cookie.”

Nutter will greet commuters at the SEPTA stop during the rush hour, from 7a.m. until 9a.m.
