WHEN: Friday, December 1, 2006 7 am - 9am
WHERE: Broad and Girard SEPTA Subway Station
Inside the station
WHY: Mayoral Candidate Michael Nutter will greet commuters at the SEPTA Broad and Girard subway stop on their way in to work tomorrow morning to share his vision for the City of Philadelphia. Nutter who declared his candidacy in July believes that it is important for Philadelphians to get a chance to meet and speak with him, and he will also have an opportunity to talk with them and hear their concerns for the City.
“As a mayoral candidate I want the citizens of Philadelphia to know that I’m available to them. You usually hear about candidates greeting commuters around Election Day, but I think it is important to talk to the people and show them that I’m interested in what they’re thinking and share some of my ideas with them now.” said Nutter.
Nutter will greet commuters at the Septa stop during the rush hour, from 7am until 9am.
