State Representative Dwight Evans will outline legislation he plans to introduce which is designed to help fix the Philadelphia Gas Works and prevent the dire consequences associated with its continued fiscal insolvency. A recent study of PGW by the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority (PICA) found that “PGW’s problems are so deep that it is possible the City will have to make additional financial contributions or even face a PGW financial collapse that would have ramifications for the entire region.”
