Wednesday, September 13th, 2006
State Representative Dwight Evans and members of the state House Philadelphia delegation will tour selected areas of Southwest and West Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 13th, 2006, at which they will meet with police officers, the elderly and young people to gauge reaction about the City’s crime wave and look for practical ideas from residents about ways to curb the flow of illegal handguns in the community. This is the last of three such tours, all of which were designed to allow Philadelphia delegation members to prepare for a September 26th Committee of the Whole session at which the House of Representatives will debate a myriad of violence-reduction initiatives.
