July 29, 2006: Potential Mayoral candidate Tom Knox, was spotted on 63rd St. near Cobbs Creek Park participating in one of the many summer events geared towards raising awareness about keeping the peace in Philadelphia's streets. On a steamy afternoon, he addressed a sparse crowd about the importance of working as a community to address the topic identified by 64% of Philadelphians in the recent Keystone Poll as being the most important social issue that the city is facing. With the help of a handful of volunteers, Knox distributed these flyers:
