Methodology

The July 2006 Keystone Poll was done in conjunction with the Philadelphia Daily News, and CN8, the Comcast Network. Any use should be attributed to Franklin & Marshall College.

Methods Statement: Telephone numbers for the survey were generated via random digit dialing. Respondents were randomly selected from within each household and a screener was used to determine respondents’ voter registration where appropriate.

The survey included 422 city residents, including a sub-sample of  370  registered voters: 264 Democrats, 62 Republicans, and 44 Independents and others.

The sample error for registered voters is 5.1 percent and for the Democrats is 6.0 percent.
